Spine
Your spine is unique, it deserves all our attention and care
Spine endoscopy
Endoscopy is performed through small incisions of about 1 cm. During the procedure, the endoscope (an instrument with a small camera the size of a pencil) is inserted into the injured area. The endoscope sends the image to a monitor. On the monitor, you can see the spine structures in great detail.
During the surgery I use the endoscope to feel, repair, or remove injured tissue. To do this, small surgical instruments are inserted through the endoscope itself.
Commonly se uses to perform nerve root release and decompression with resection of intervertebral discs
